This Sunday is the Oscars!!

This Sunday at the Hollywood Theater, the Oscars will be be broadcasted!! The red carpet starts at 3 pm with your lovily hostesses from the front lines, Gula Delgatto and myself, Fannie Mae! It'll be a fun way to end your weekend!

February 26th, 2012 marks the 84th Annual Academy Awards. The Hollywood Theatre and Fleur de Lethal Cinematheque invite you to a lively and lovely party with a live broadcast on the 50ft screen.

Hosted by Portland’s Funniest Person” Ian Karmel and Miss Nico Bella of Fleur de Lethal Cinematheque, Oscars @ The Hollywood is just as much about audience participation as it is the ceremony. Party-goers are encouraged to dress to the nines ( or in costume) for our “red carpet” and duck in to our VIP ( Very Important Photo) Booth hosted by Robbie Augsperger.

The audience will select best dressed/best themed costume and brave attendees can enter the” Statuette Roulette” . If your name is drawn during a commercial break you will have 1 minute to deliver the acceptance speech you have been practicing for years. Winners will be rewarded with treasures,treats and movie passes from The Hollywood and Fleur de Lethal.

A 4 hour broadcast can lead to thirsty and hungry attendees so we have invited Portland favorites Violetta, al Forno Ferruzza Pizza and Voodoo Donuts to create a pop-up “food court” and a special Oscar themed bar helmed by Ryan Brentley will also be serving themed craft cocktails. Glamorous Fleur de Lethal usherettes will be on hand to take and deliver orders to your seats so you won’t miss a glitz-packed minute.

Fill out a Hollywood Theatre Oscar Ballot and turn it in before the broadcast. The ballots will be tallied in the week following the broadcast and the most correct predictions will win prizes from our marvelous sponsors including a luxurious gift package from our friends at Hotel DeLuxe!

This event is free to the public. However, for those interested in a more “Red Carpet” experience we have released a VIP ticket for 15.00 to benefit The Hollywood Theatre. This ticket includes: reserved seating, two selections from our Oscar cocktail menu, an entry ballot for our “predict the winner” sweepstakes and a few other surprises.

Well, here we are poodles and penguins! It's 2012 and the year is starting off with a real fucking bang. We are planning a full year of great change and love and acceptance. No more fucking around!! Starting up this month I'm hosting Peep Show at the Red Cap Garage on Jan 20th! Since its my show, we are doing Peep Show with the theme of adult book stores, sleezy dark rooms, and perverse sexual going-ons. We have Nico Bella, Austin Tatious, Kyle Minstrel, Jackie Daniels, Ecxtasy Inferno, and many more!

sad days in Portland!!

Just Out has closed their doors on us. It saddens me for several reasons like: Why weren't we told about it. We could have had atleast a fundraiser to keep it alive. The publication doesn't just belong to its owners, but to its readers as well. I am not trying to talk down to Marty Davis at all, but I feel that we should have been told so we could have all pooled our resorces to save it.
So, even though this sadden me, it also leave the option to start a new one but under the same name. I want find out all this and get on it ASAP.

Tonight I'm preforming at Peep Show for the umpteenth time!!  Doors at 930 show at 10!!  It's sponsored tonight by my girl L.A. Kendall from Hard Times Press in Seattle! It's gonna be fierce bitches.
Then tomorrow is the recently scandalous Blow Pony "Night of the Living Tranny's". With that said, let me just give my input of the scandal. My take of the incident is that someone from the TRANSGENDERED community is saying that the name of the dance night (Night of the Living Tranny) is offensive. Then Airack Heater of Blow Pony didn't respond to the sensitivity in a way  suitable to the individual and thus causing a RIDICULOUS fight. BLAH, anyway my gruff is that  HOW DARE anyone from such a broad community of "tranny's" start a fight that is not their fight to fight. I have had no surgery to alter my body in a way, I still have my penis, and I live my life as a male, BUT I wear women's clothing and am often a woman/man creature therefore I AM A TRANNY!!  The word tranny does not solely belong to the transgendered community it is a broad term used for all different fascists of the trans community. Hasn't anyone heard of TrannyShack in San Fran...GUESS WHAT...HEKLINA IS A MAN AND WAS BORN A MAN!!!!!! I feel the community in Portland just wants to make a fight because they are too sensitive for their own good. How Airick responded may have been wrong, but the people who made a very public gruff about the name was out of line. If anything it made them look ridiculous and even more oppressed then they really are. Seriously people, your actions only reflect your own feelings of how you perceive people to feel about you. EVERY PERSON ON THE BILL FOR SATURDAY NIGHT IS A TRANNY!!
